Q. Is the deposit protected?

A. Yes, through the government approved Tenancy Deposit Solutions scheme. www.mydeposits.co.uk

Q. When do I need to give you the cheques?

A.The post dated cheques are required at the signing of the contract.

Q. What does the rent cover?

A.The rent covers your stay in the property for the duration of the contract. It does not cover water rates, gas, electricity. It also does not cover charges for phone lines, cable lines nor a TV licence.

Q. What other equipment will be provided in the house?

A. Microwave, vacuum cleaner, washing machine, cooker, and sufficient fridge/freezer space.

Q. Can we stay in the house over summer?

A. The contract is for 12 months starting 11th July.

Q. What furniture will be provided in the bedrooms?

A. In every bedroom there will be at least a bed, a wardrobe, bookcase, a chest of drawers, a chair and a desk/table.

Q. Can I paint /decorate my room?

A. This will depend on the wall covering. If it is washable then yes. Otherwise only if has not been decorated within 2 years. This will be obvious when you look at the walls.

Q. Can blue-tac be used to put up posters etc.. ?

A. Sorry but NO. I have spent too many summers redecorating because of this substance and will no longer allow it to be used.
